Stepping into Their World

At Magnolia in Dawsonville participants were immersed in the world of dementia. With webbed gloves, sunglasses, and prickly shoe inserts, they experience the challenges faced by those with dementia. Add in headphones playing everyday noises, and suddenly, simple tasks become bewildering. Navigating a darkened room mirrors the disorientation felt by those living with dementia.
