volunteer information

Volunteers are a key part of our Hospice team! Our volunteer program provides opportunities for people of all ages to serve with the flexibility to meet your schedule. We work to accommodate your availability and geographic area. Being a Hospice volunteer is about caring for another in a way that builds a relationship that says “I truly care!”

All you need is compassion, empathy, and loving nature! We are looking for people who love seniors and have an understanding of their care and wellbeing. You do not need to worry that you are not qualified or experienced because we train and work with you on learning all you need to know to build lasting relationships!

time commitment

Your time commitment is up to you! We only ask that you make a consistent commitment to meet with your patient and build a relationship with them and their family. Most of our volunteers make a commitment to one hour each week and schedule a regular time for their visits depending on the demands of their personal schedules.
